Anna McMillan
Anna brings more than 20 years of experience in Scotland’s technology sector, with deep expertise in consulting, quality engineering and software testing. Throughout her career in an industry where women remain underrepresented, she has been a strong advocate for creating visible pathways for women and girls into technology.
Alongside her professional career, Anna has dedicated significant voluntary time to supporting quality and improvement in education through work with Local Government and HM Inspectorate of Education. As a mother of two teenage daughters and a younger son, she is passionate about the power of role models and the importance of helping young women see themselves reflected in the tech industry.
Anna previously mentored with the SWiT Women Do Cyber Programme, an experience she found incredibly rewarding. Her decision to join the SWiT Board is driven by a belief that every woman deserves the support, community and encouragement to thrive in tech.
