The 2024 Women Do Cyber programme offers 40 fully-funded reskilling places to help women progress into Cyber Security careers

Suitable for women returners, career changers and those facing potential redundancy/redeployment.
No prior experience or tech skills required.
Provides an accessible pathway to Graduate Apprenticeship Cyber Security and entry level Cyber positions.
Online, self-paced, flexible learning providing anytime access across Scotland and ability to study whilst in current job.
Mentoring and support to connect with Scotland’s cyber industry provided by SWiT and Cisco.

Women Do Cyber is a unique collaboration between SWiT, Cisco and Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU).

Together we have developed a government funded academic pathway for women in Scotland to gain Cyber Security qualifications through an accredited course. The course itself is provided by the Cisco Networking Academy and taught by fantastic female lecturers within GCU.

Participants on the programme are supported by Scotland Women in Technology and Cisco via opportunities to learn about and connect with Scotland’s cyber and tech industry. This includes information about cyber careers and pathways, opportunities to hear from women working in cyber and employers, and to build their network and connections. Our first cohort from 2022 have also had opportunities to increase their own exposure through media and events.
