Speaker Bios
Jemima Mackenzie is an Associate and Global Head of Morgan Stanley’s Strategic Risk Intelligence team. She is responsible for overseeing the identification of strategic risks to the Firm that have the potential to impact people, assets, and operations.
Jemima has more than 10 years of experience in the intelligence and security sectors. Jemima joined Morgan Stanley in 2021, after spending three years as Canary Wharf Group’s Senior Intelligence Analyst. Prior to joining Canary Wharf Group, she held positions with crisis management consultancy Register Larkin by Deloitte, NYA International (Crisis 24) and IHS Jane’s.
Jemima received her MA with Distinction in Terrorism, Security and Society from King’s College London in 2010, and served as an Armed Forces Reservist for eight years. In her downtime Jemima enjoys playing squash, wild swimming, and hiking Scotland’s incredible munros!
With over a decade in the creative, media, and advertising industry, Kelly leads Dentsu's dynamic creative solution team. Her role involves leading a team of creatives, data analysts, and tech experts, driving product innovation, adoption, and growth for 50+ clients.
Kelly is a passionate advocate for industry-wide diversity and inclusivity. Her involvement in committees such as ONE (for gender equality), Wellbeing, Parents and Carers, and Women in Tech at Dentsu has spurred policy changes and empowered women leaders. She spearheaded the scaling of #IamRemarkable at Dentsu in partnership with Google, a movement that empowers women and underrepresented groups to celebrate their achievements and challenge their imposter syndrome, biases towards self-promotion and gender modesty norms. Additionally, she advises on the Bloom Scotland Strategy Committee and FLAG for the Marketing Society. Recently, she achieved the Rising Star Award from WeAreTheCity, an organisation that specialises in encouraging women to progress in their careers across industries.
Located in East Lothian, Kelly is a devoted mother to a 4 year old, an all-weather sea-swimmer, a Singaporean cuisine enthusiast, and the family's primary breadwinner.
Kelly Ling
This IT manager found their passion for technology after trying various career paths early in life. They went to university hoping to become a doctor, but soon realized it wasn't the right fit. From there, they gained experience in diverse roles like HR, administration, event planning and policy work before landing in the IT field. Having now established themselves as an IT professional, they are able to maintain a balanced lifestyle as both a successful career person and loving parent.
They grew up in Glasgow and met their husband at St Andrews University in 1998. The couple now live in Kinross with their two sons aged 10 and 6. When not working in IT, they enjoy nerding out over sci-fi, hard rock music, technology, games and gadgets. They are also passionate foodies with a love for gin, rugby and cars. With a colourful background and diverse interests, they bring a unique perspective and skillset to their IT management position.

Engineering Community Lead, Lloyds Banking Group
After studying Mathematics and Statistics at Lancaster University, Rose joined the Lloyds Banking Group graduate scheme. During her last placement as a Data Analyst she was retrained at a company called CodeClan, after which she returned to Lloyds Banking Group as a Front End Engineer. Following this she joined the Data, Advanced Analytics and Insights team as a Full-Stack Engineer. Because of her passion for inclusion and diversity, throughout this time Rose has helped run a network called Women ConnecTech, whose aim is to improve gender diversity within Lloyds Banking Group and the industry as a whole. This including running a program to upskill over 100 female and non-binary colleagues in a coding language of their choice. Rose has recently started a new role as Engineering Community Lead for Lloyds Banking Group and gained a distinction in her Master for Software Systems.
